Did You Know? -
One of the best things about learning something new is being able to share that knowledge with others. And while some facts are weird and wonderful and others are totally

1. Did you know grapes light on fire in the microwave?
Back in 2011, a physicist at the University of Sydney went viral after he placed a grape in the microwave and filmed the fiery aftermath. And oddly enough, scientists couldn't

of the loose electrons and ions that cluster to form plasma when grapes get hot.

No one will blame you if you've never bothered to time yourself on the toilet. But you may be interested to know that researchers from the Georgia Institute of Technology found
that most mammals weighing more than six pounds take 21 seconds to pee. According to live science, this oddly consistent time is due to the fact that the urethra is
"appropriately scaled" to be a "flow-enhancing device." And apparently, the perfectly enhanced flow takes 21 seconds to complete. It's one of the perfect did you know facts to try at home!
3. Did you know the 1939 novel,Gadsby, is the longest book ever published that doesn't contain the letter 'e'?

the letter. Author Georges Perec also wrote the French-language book La Disparition without the letter 'e' in 1969. That's even more astounding when you consider that the

Veteran Actor Pete Edochie blows Hot about African men kneeling to propose to their womenVeteran actor, Pete Edochie has frowned at the way Africans are adopting the doctrines and culture of the whites, thereby neglecting our own tradition and culture. The celebrated actor seriously whitewashed African men who kneel down to propose to their wives to be, all in the name of love. He said by so doing, you’re giving the woman power over you, thereby making her the head of the marriage. In his words; “Kneeling to propose to a woman is white people’s culture because women dominate there and have more right than men, it is not the African man’s ways”.He went on to remind us that, in the traditional setting, it is a woman who kneels to give drink to a man to show her loyalty, humility and total submission to the man and that’s the way it should be.“I didn’t kneel to propose to my wife and we’ve stayed 50years in our marriage, I took my time to woo her, when it’s time to settle down, I asked if she’ll marry me and that was it”, he said.He went on to give account of how the Whites came to Africa pretending to be archeologists but little did we know they came to destroy our culture and trade us.

This 3 facts about goats would shock you!As it turns out, the life of the average goat is a lot more complex than most people ever assumed. These findings will make you not look at these animals in the same way ever again.GOATS CAN DISTINGUISH EMOTIONSThis particular aspect should not come as a complete surprise. Most animals known to Man can effectively take note of emotions on some level, thus it is not that strange to see goats included on this list. What is rather remarkable, however, is how these animals can distinguish emotions from one another’s calls, as well as any human they interact with at any given time. GOATS ARE INCREDIBLY CLEVERWhen looking at a goat, one might not necessarily assume these creatures to be extremely intelligent. After all, goats often seem laid back and content, but that may just be a facade. Goats are, based on their smarts, on a level similar to dolphins, whales, and elephants. That is not entirely what researchers assumed at first, yet it is another sign of how little humans understand about the complexity of animals.THE COMPLEX SOCIAL CONTEXTUnlike what one might think when looking at a herd of goats, these animals often live in complex social groups. Although a goat can be more aggressive than other farm animals such as sheep, this is part of their exploratory and reactive nature. Combined with their high degree of social organization and their inherent intelligence, goats have evolved significantly throughout the ages. Other benefits of this complex social structure include effective foraging, successful care of offspring, and better access to sexual partners. A group’s linear hierarchy will also keep everyone in check accordingly, although there will be “challengers’ to the crown as time progresses. There is a lot more going on in the world of a goat than might meet the eye at first.
